Mental & Behavioral Health OARS Learning Track

In collaboration with numerous partners, NYSARH is providing an Older Adult Rural Support (OARS) Learning Track. 

This comprehensive training program is designed for individuals pursuing or advancing careers in mental and behavioral health. Whether you’re a student, licensed professional, or caregiver, this learning track supports your growth and development.

Trainings in this program: 

1. Social Determinants of Health
2. Motivational Interviewing
3. Motivational Interviewing with Older Adults: Practical Skills for Supportive Conversation
4. Advancing Rural Health: Supporting the Well Being of Older Adults
5. Person-centered Trauma-informed Approaches with Older Adults
6. Rural Resilience: Addressing Trauma and Mental Health in Older Adults

Upon completion of all six courses, a Certificate of Achievement will be awarded recognizing full completion of the Older Adult Rural Support (OARS) Learning Track.
