Health Career Army Pathways Program (HCAPP)

The Health Career Army Pathway Program (HCAPP) is a free program designed to help Military Spouses, Reservists, and transitioning Service Members who are interested in pursuing a career in any healthcare field. The program is approximately 12 weeks and is tailored to each individual. During the 10-12 weeks in the program, we have individual sessions one per week lasting between 1-1 ½ hours each. Provide access to resources that cover subjects such as: Social Networking, Interview Preparation, Cultural Competency, and job specific information. The individual sessions are designed to be around your area of interest and may include the following: • Education Mapping • Career Mapping • Professional Resume Development • Cover Letters • One-on-one with a Subject Matter Expert who works in the field or from a university you are interested in attending so you can learn how to better prepare yourself to get in their program. We do offer a Job Shadow experience as part of the program that is 3-5 days long (depending on the location it could be longer) where you get to shadow someone in the field you are interested with one of the local hospitals and/ or outpatient practice.
