Learning Formats at SUNY Broome

• Traditional In-Person – For labs, clinicals, and face-to-face instruction.
• Blended (Hybrid)– In Blended courses, class meets both on campus and online using Brightspace.
• Fully Online Courses – All coursework is delivered via Brightspace. Students do not have to travel to campus to attend scheduled class sessions. 100% fully online programs are available in Health Science A.S., Health Information Technology A.A.S. With the exception of the requirement to complete clinicals in person at a location near where students live, the Clinical Laboratory Technician A.A.S., Histological Technician A.A.S. and Histological Technician Certificate may be completed 100% online, including labs.
• Evening & Weekend – The Nursing Evening-Weekend A.A.S. program offers flexible schedules for working students with classes/labs completed two evenings a week and clinicals scheduled every other weekend.
