Rural Health Exploration Program

The RHEP program offers an experiential job shadowing opportunity for high school juniors, seniors, and college students. Participants are placed with a community business or medical facility, where they observe an employee's daily work routine and interactions with clients or customers. Students also have the chance to attend meetings and other appointments alongside the employee. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so apply anytime to learn more and get involved!

Some partners that NAHEC has placed students with in the past include but aren't limited to Healey Medical Center, Alice Hyde Medical Center, Midwife Sunday Smith, and Community Health Center of the North Country.
