Nursing (A.A.S.)

The Nursing degree at Jamestown Community College prepares you to become a registered nurse. You can pursue careers in patient care, emotional support, and education. Registered nurses work in hospitals, physician’s offices, home healthcare, outpatient clinics, schools, hospice care, rehabilitation facilities, and travel nursing nationally and internationally.

• At JCC, you'll be prepared to take the National Council of State Boards for Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
• JCC's program focuses on the National League for Nursing (NLN) Association Degree (AD) competencies and Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) competencies.
• Nursing faculty are experts in their field, and many are clinical instructors who work with students in the healthcare agencies.
