• Nazareth College’s MSW program at the Watertown satellite site has been in place since the fall of 2013
• Courses are held at the Jefferson Higher Education Center at Jefferson Community College
• Classes are held mostly in person during the evenings with some online or hybrid options

  • The MSW Program at Nazareth College has the second highest licensure pass rate (LMSW) in New York State
  • Our Program prepares you to complete the licensure application process and to take the LMSW exam

• Elective options in trauma-informed care, play therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, co-occurring disorders, rural social work, school social work, and social work and the law
• Our program partners with over 250 agencies to offer experiential learning opportunities in field education including in the Watertown area
• Opportunities exist across settings where you will be part of interprofessional and collaborative teams
• Completion of 500 internship hours (36-credit program) or 900 hours (60-credit program)
• For the 60-credit program, field work occurs in years 1 and 3 (3 year track) or years 2 and 4 (4 year track)
• For the 36-credit program, field work occurs in year 2
• MSW has a reduced tuition: $742 a credit hour in 2021-22
