Children's Uniform Clinical Network Provider Training Modules

MCTAC and CTAC, in partnership with the Center for Practice Innovations (CPI) and Partnership to End Addiction, have released several Uniform Clinical Network Provider Training modules.

Available Trainings:
-Family-Driven and Youth Guided Practice
-Recovery and Resilience for Children and Youth
-Understanding Family Engagement and Best Practices
-Coordination/Collaboration Across Child Serving Systems
-Trauma Informed Care in the Child/Adolescent Behavioral Healthcare System
-Unique Needs of Children Age 0-5
-Unique Needs of Transition Age Youth
-Unique Needs of Children with Serious Emotional Disturbance
-Unique Needs of Adolescents with Substance Use Disorder
-Unique Needs of Medically Fragile Children
-Unique Needs of Children involved with Child Welfare
-CFTSS: Promoting Childhood Behavioral Health and Wellness

This training curriculum provides a total of 5.25 self-study contact hours, at no cost to eligible providers who are Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Psychologists, CASAC/CPP/CPS Renewal, and CPS/CPP Section 1.

The Children’s Uniform Clinical Network Provider Training is designed to help prepare NYS behavioral health providers who are part of Medicaid Managed Care Plan (MMCP) networks to meet the behavioral health needs of the children, adolescents, young adults, and families they serve.

Audience:  NYS providers serving children/youth aged birth to 21 are encouraged to complete these trainings. Specifically, Outpatient Child-serving Clinics (OMH and OASAS), OASAS Prevention Programs,  Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) Providers, Children’s Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Providers, and Article 29-I Health Facilities and Voluntary Foster Care Agencies (VFCA).
