Ashleigh McGowan is the VP of Strategic Development for Health Workforce New York (HWNY). In this role, Ashleigh works directly with clients and community partners to uncover underlying workforce development needs, strategically identify technology-based solutions to meet those needs, and manage the design, development, and implementation across multiple teams.

Ashleigh has a master’s degree in Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation from Syracuse University and her background in technology development and passion for helping organizations grow in the digital age helped create HWapps, a digital health workforce development platform.

As the driving force behind the HWapps concept, design, and development, Ashleigh is responsible for overseeing multiple projects at one time, managing the HWapps team, overseeing project scopes and objectives, and overseeing each project through planning, budgeting, and project fruition. She is also responsible for working with the HWNY Executive Team and staff to identify potential new business opportunities.

In addition to her leadership and management of HWapps, Ashleigh continues to tailor her expertise in maximizing the use of technology to achieve operational efficiencies, improve business strategies and outcomes, and develop next-generation digital services.
