Richard Merchant
CEO, Health WorkForce New York (HWNY)
Richard Merchant has over 25 years teaching in graduate medical education and possesses expertise in curriculum development and applied medical anthropology. He drives research and analysis, and consults for organizations to assess culture, determine needs, develop and deliver solutions, and evaluate performance outcomes in leadership, management, and strategic business development.
The foundation of the Health Workforce Collaborative is based on the values of democracy, equality, equity, and solidarity. In the tradition of its founders, the Collaborative upholds the ethical values of honesty, transparency, social responsibility and caring for others.
